EMF Feeders
Electro-mec supplies most of the leading pharmaceutical packaging companies and sub contract packers with its own design of tablet/capsule feeder (The EMF Range), which has proved itself to be reliable, repeatable and accurate in an unlimited variety of pack layouts.
The EMF uses an individual "gated" feed tube per blister pocket. Thus each product unit is placed into its corresponding pocket, unlike other feeding methods which rely on gravity feed as the web passes beneath, or hand dosing which is time consuming and costly.
The EMF range of feeders suits a variety of web widths; from the EMF1D for web up to 150mm wide, to the EMF5D for up to 300mm web. The pack and product specific change part tooling is designed by our engineers using the latest 3D CAD package, providing the client with 3D drawings of the finished pack prior to ordering, and programmes for CAD/CAM manufacture of the component parts.
The EMF feeder can be supplied as a self-contained package with Bulk Hopper and vibratory conveyor and tooling sets. Optional extras include split hoppers for up to four different products in one pack, dust extraction facilities, chevron arranged pocket feed etc.
