Bespoke Machines
The Electro-mec design team, with its vast experience of producing engineered solutions for the pharmaceuticals industry, has undertaken many projects requiring the design and supply of bespoke machines for one-off applications where standard machines are not available.
In several instances the bespoke machine applications (such as the Orbital Brush) have identified a need throughout the industry, which has lead to the production of a range of similar machines for other customers as well as the originator.
Typical examples of bespoke machines designed and manufactured by Electro-mec include:
- An orbital brush to gently brush tablets/caplets fully home into the pockets of formed blister web.
- A blister collating and counting device for a Cartoning line.
- A fully automatic machine to cut dental floss into 1M lengths, and feed them into sachets at a rate in excess of 40 packs per minute.
- Automatic Feeding Systems ( 5 ) to feed 30mm square single pocket blisters from bulk into sachets at a rate of 160 per minute.
- Automatic machine for inhalant dispensing device assembly and inspection, at a rate of 30 per minute.
- Automatic Inspection Systems ( 3 ) for 30mm square single pocket blisters from bulk at 80 per minute.
