Avid holdings plc is an AIM listed investment company in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and engineering markets.

Avid's first investment in June 2006 was Pill protect, a child resistant, senior friendly packaging solution for blister packed drugs.

The subsequent acquisition of Electro-mec completed in March 2007.

Avid are constantly looking for acquisition targets to enlarge its portfolio of companies who would benefit from a programme of investment.
